SapEM Systems Maintenance
Follow these steps to install and activate your SapEM wireless monitoring system.
Battery Replacement
SapEM sensor nodes are designed for long battery life.
Typical battery replacement intervals range from
2 to 3 years depending on transmission rate
and environmental conditions.
- Use only recommended lithium battery types.
- Ensure polarity is correct during installation.
- Verify sensor startup LED flashes after replacement.
Sensor Inspection
Inspect pressure tubing and sensor ports periodically to
ensure debris, moisture, or contamination has not entered
the sensing path.
- Check tubing connections for leaks.
- Inspect pressure port for dirt or blockage.
- Verify enclosure seals remain intact.
Wireless Communication Check
Periodically confirm that each sensor node maintains
stable communication with the SapEM hub.
- Verify signal strength in the monitoring dashboard.
- Ensure no new obstructions block RF transmission.
- Reposition hub or sensors if signal strength drops.
Firmware Updates
Firmware updates may provide improved battery life,
enhanced diagnostics, or new monitoring features.
- Check the downloads page for the latest firmware.
- Follow update procedures in the system manual.
- Verify successful update through the dashboard.
